I remember how he would leave his place of work to check on my dad when my dad was sick for
years, how he would settle disputes between my parents. He wasn't just a Christian, he lived the life
of Christian in the true sense of it's meaning. If there's one thing I knew him for, it' was the fact or
rather a truth that he was a prayer warrior. Rest on with the lord daddy Afolayan.

Papa Rufus Afolayan Osayomi was a highly religious and decicated family man from Ekiti State in
Nigeria a State with the highest number of professors in the Country. Papa was an unassuming, easy
going, hardworking and humble daddy that radiates love all through. Even during the wedding of our
daughter (Elizabeth Modupe) to daddy's first son Daniel Afolayan in January 2023, these great
qualities that papa possessed manifested all through. From the 2 families introduction to wedding
day introduction, church service down to reception our beloved daddy radiated unquantifiable love.
Daddy also remained the easy going and humble man after wedding until his last breath. Daddy is an
in law that everyone wants to associate with. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
